Refund and Returns Policy for Bastion Home
At Bastion Home, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the unique and delicate nature of antique and vintage items, we have a specific policy for refunds and returns:
- Inspection Period:
- You have 7 days from the date of delivery to inspect your item and notify us of any issues.
- We strongly recommend examining your purchase immediately upon receipt.
- Return Eligibility:
- Items must be in the same condition as when received, unused, and in original packaging.
- Custom or specially sourced items are non-returnable.
- Sale items marked “Final Sale” are not eligible for return or refund.
- Process for Returns:
- Contact us within the 7-day inspection period to initiate a return.
- Clearly state the reason for the return and include photos if applicable.
- Wait for our confirmation before shipping the item back.
- Shipping for Returns:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or not as described.
- We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds:
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- The refund will be for the purchase price of the item, excluding shipping fees.
- Exchanges:
- We offer exchanges on a case-by-case basis, subject to item availability.
- If you prefer an exchange, please contact us to discuss options.
- Damaged Items:
- If an item arrives damaged, contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.
- We will work with you to resolve the issue, either through repair, replacement, or refund.
- Cancellations:
- Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if the item has not yet shipped.
- Once an item has shipped, our standard return policy applies.
- Store Credit:
- If you’re outside the return window or prefer not to receive a refund, we offer store credit.
- Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issue.
- Exceptions:
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if the above conditions are not met.
- For health and hygiene reasons, upholstered items may be subject to additional restrictions.
Please note that antique and vintage items may show signs of age and use, which are part of their character and value. These are not considered defects and are not grounds for return.
